Fire & Security Engineer – Northampton area
Master both sides of the trade, and get paid while you do it.
If you’re confident in either fire or security and looking to build out your skillset, this one’s worth a look. You’ll be working across a good mix of systems, backed by solid training, and supported by a team that actually cares about your development.
Expect paid product courses, proper training time (6 days a year), and a clear path to progress, whether that’s going specialist, stepping into leadership, or just getting better at what you do.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be servicing and maintaining a mix of fire, intruder, CCTV, and access control systems, responding to faults and carrying out remedial works. Most of your work will be within about an hour’s drive of Northampton,
no long-haul travel.
You’ll be keeping systems compliant, staying sharp on the regs (BS 5839 and friends), and getting exposure to a range of tech from Paxton to Hikvision.
What you’ll need
• At least 3 years’ experience in fire or security
• A solid base in one, and a willingness to learn the other
• Confident with fault-finding and servicing
• Full UK driving licence + CSCS/ECS
• Right to work in the UK
• Willing to join call-out rota (details TBC)
