Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and inclusive History lessons across Key Stages
Teach History up to GCSE level, ensuring curriculum coverage and progression
Plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum aligned with national standards
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning through strong classroom management skills
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
Contribute to the development of a dynamic and ambitious Humanities department
Promote a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environmentIdeal Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in History and related topics
Experience teaching History up to GCSE level
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies
Passionate about inspiring students and bringing historical topics to life
Skilled at engaging learners of all abilities
