Late Shift Production Supervisor – Rayleigh – Monday to Friday – Late Shift
We’re working with a growing business in Rayleigh who are looking for an experienced Late Shift Production Supervisor to join their Production and Warehouse teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, driving team performance, and maintaining high standards across production and warehouse functions.
As Late Shift Production Supervisor, you will lead, train, and develop your team, ensuring production schedules are met efficiently and safely. You’ll act as the key link between your team and senior management, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, problem-solving, and day-to-day operational excellence.
What you’ll do:
Supervise, coach, and develop your team to ensure production targets and quality standards are met
Resolve operative issues and act as a link between staff and senior management
Stay calm under pressure and hold the team accountable professionally
Attend and lead meetings, communicate updates, and implement approved changes
Plan production schedules, staffing, machinery, and workload for night shifts
Support Late Shift Manager with recruitment, workload allocation, and warehouse/production coordination
Drive continuous improvement, eliminating errors and leading by example
Ensure accurate handover between shifts and smooth daily operations
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience supervising a production or warehouse team
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety standards within a manufacturing and production / warehouse environment
Experience working in production, meeting deadlines, and managing staffing levels
Ability to lead by example and motivate a team under pressure
Flexible, proactive, and solution-focused
